Silence in the Din
Silence in the Din
Hear chattering in the distance
Birds chirping what are they sayin
Feels like a need to share their bare souls
People walk by on a call
Everyone is so important
Sit in the corner feeling the rhythm
Any party or social call must have a beat
That’s when they need me
Mister Dj drop a beat or something sweet
Got no time for being social
Courses through my veins so I dip back in
Feel ike a tourist watching the soulless
Too real to be understood
Wear it on my sleeve while they hide their mask
But on Facebook they are so popular
Nothing truer than a real love song
Genuine soul you seldom meet
But they keep talking nothing real comes out
Pick up a needle and drop it on the wax
All the sudden talking heads shut up
And start singing and dancing
Levels the field we’re all the same
Till the song ends and the chattering starts again
So much senseless ego in the room
Feels like Wall Street with Gecko
Sayin greed is good
