liken to the redwood
the mighty trees of time

seeing through eyes, not of this realm
even a book remembers being a tree
fast or slow the knowledge will remain
to lie down upon open minds

it is with cause we elevate
alleviate the hunger to see through the hourglass
as the golden sands run grain by grain
rotating through visions and dreams
