Bar By The Sea
Hours I walked
My footprints were left
In the sand, just as my heart
I walked to the familiar bar
The one that is lit beautifully
Lanterns hanging and swaying with the evening breeze
I was so ready to breathe in
the familiar scent of the ocean
The golden rays have left
Only moonlit waves
I ordered my usual
I talked to a stranger that had just arrived
The one that saved my life
With a few words he said
“ Don’t forget to live “
And with that I breathe
My footprints were left
In the sand, just as my heart
I walked to the familiar bar
The one that is lit beautifully
Lanterns hanging and swaying with the evening breeze
I was so ready to breathe in
the familiar scent of the ocean
The golden rays have left
Only moonlit waves
I ordered my usual
I talked to a stranger that had just arrived
The one that saved my life
With a few words he said
“ Don’t forget to live “
And with that I breathe
