Atmospheric Exuberance

Into the swirling seas,
Spiraling colors designate waves.
Light and dark imagined,
Gathering common hearts,
The rainbow's pale eyes

Landed over seven times,
Global navigation.
Denied purpose and truth,
No citation for an anomaly,
Naked human wonder.

Stability fallen,
Sensuality aloft.
Gauging the balance,
Sacrifice is forgotten,
Traded for sin.

Explore the rain,
Deep shades of depression.
Chasing the wind's voice,
Haunted echoes devoid,
The storm of reality

Pride and carnality,
Monogamy alienated.
Unto the wayside,
Down in the pits,
The fate of death is shared.

Conquerors come,
Quickening the flame.
Ethereal fire plumage,
Orange and red,
Consuming and dwarfing.

Patient faith endures,
The Eternal's mercy is forever.
Seasonal shift,
With an abundance of peace,
A harvest comes.

Sunshine and radiance,
A joyous change to all.
Horizons abound,
Metamorphosis revealed,
Atmospheric exuberance.

Author's Note
This is more or less about what's lacking in the world in relationships, which is sacrifice, and a patient faith to endure to the great transition about to happen. Everyone automatically assumes "erotic description" in a supposed "love" poem. The "love" here is in the interest of the bigger picture. It's as if the only "purpose" that some people know now is fornication, adultery, sexual immorality, promiscuity, and all of the negative effects of broken homes, in exchange for multiple partners. There never really is a "settling down" with some people as such. They spend their time "experimenting" to "find themselves" sexually. To me, the only identity pertaining to sexuality is husband or wife. Independence from promiscuity is possible - even if one has to be celibate!
