Droplets

The glistening droplet of fresh rain
clings to the berry.
To a squawking bluejay
that's a luscious cherry.
Is the berry crying or shining?
Is the soul fleeing or flying?
Droplets dangle from dank naked branches.
Diamond tears from broken chances.
Abandoned stances.
The rain persists to linger.
Like the way the choreography of your fingers did.
My heart a despairing shade of blue.
From thought conjuring droplets of you.......
