Droplets
The glistening droplet of fresh rain
clings to the berry.
To a squawking bluejay
that's a luscious cherry.
Is the berry crying or shining?
Is the soul fleeing or flying?
Droplets dangle from dank naked branches.
Diamond tears from broken chances.
Abandoned stances.
The rain persists to linger.
Like the way the choreography of your fingers did.
My heart a despairing shade of blue.
From thought conjuring droplets of you.......
clings to the berry.

It was inspired literally by a raindrop clinging to a berry in the tree.
I like to visually see what I'm going to write.
Thank you for stopping by.

What an emotional, gentle piece of poetry. Well written and descriptive in detail. Nice! Did you take the photo?

Thank so much. No I did not take photo.
Sometimes my photos are too large files to use
But it was inspired by raindrops on the berries of my tree.

Many forms of expression capture your ability to articulate. I like the dualities you create and how you "shift direction" once you plug the moral inquisition into the theme, resulting into what unfolds next. Morality, emotional need, and beautiful analogies capture a great, overall atmosphere. very inspiring, at least to me.

I enjoyed how you used droplets
as a reminder of lost love.
They do resemble tears.
