The Bells
The bells are always ringing
Wherever I might be -
To remind me of the Lord
Of Lords - awaiting there for me.
They are ringing in the morning dawn
As as I awake to pray
And at the evening sunset hour
The closing of the day.
As dark falls on the land
They whisper "Climb the Tower"
Where the sun is always shinning
Though it is the midnight hour.
For -
There at the crown of the stairway
There at the "Top of Above"
Patiently awaiting my entrance
Is the Lord of Lords of love.
Wherever I might be -
To remind me of the Lord
Of Lords - awaiting there for me.
They are ringing in the morning dawn
As as I awake to pray
And at the evening sunset hour
The closing of the day.
As dark falls on the land
They whisper "Climb the Tower"
Where the sun is always shinning
Though it is the midnight hour.
For -
There at the crown of the stairway
There at the "Top of Above"
Patiently awaiting my entrance
Is the Lord of Lords of love.
