It was a dark time
It was a dark time,
A time of addiction,
A time of waiting
For death's call.
I knelt to give men pleasure,
I knelt to pray for healing.
In the throbbing of a man,
There was some semblance of life.
In my mouth’s receiving,
I felt something common, alive—
The illusion of human affection.
A time of addiction,
A time of waiting
For death's call.
I knelt to give men pleasure,
I knelt to pray for healing.
In the throbbing of a man,
There was some semblance of life.
In my mouth’s receiving,
I felt something common, alive—
The illusion of human affection.
