EXPATRIATION TO UNKNOWN DESTINATION

Pumping my brakes; taking a pause for the cause
A reprieve from the game framed by 48 laws
Where the stars and stripes unite upon a tattered flag
The land of milk and honey where many chase the bag

Rags to riches are the wishes of the populous
Soul selling while running after IN GOD WE TRUST
Lust causing bust when they play their hands
Dying while trying to change nicks & dimes to bands

Cause the land has quick sand in inconspicuous places
And labyrinths full of rats desiring to win their races
With hatemongering racist who elect to be president
Some days I don't wanna play this game or be a resident
