Image for the poem Fancy That

Fancy That

dark elixir carefully brewed
a ritual when dawn unfold
to smell that and the roses
slowly dying on vases

the fragrance dance in the air
like belly dancers' tantalising gait
caressing the senses deeply
a lick a sip and everything's great

Coffee like dreams taking flight
carefully traversed on the morning light.

Author's Note
I was a coffee drinker once until I was told not to, due to some ailment. I switched to tea, but still love the smell of coffee.
