Morning Light

extraordinary light is  pouring
from the morning sky
onto the ocean ever more in
waves as photons fly

through the space that's  in between
the distant Sun and Earth
flowing in an endless stream
to create the birth

of consciousness in all the beings
everywhere around
by the shore including me in
this place in which we're found

coalescing thoughts and feelings
at the start of a new day
in morning light with its appealing
shimmering on the bay

transcendental, mesmerizing
touched by the only god
we can see in its surprising
lifting of mind's fog

on the ocean by the pouring
of photons from the sky
more and more and more and more in
moments flowing by...
