The Lying Fee
If there was a fee on lies...
There isn't, but what if there was.
How much in debt would you be right now?
How many lies have you told and gotten away with?
How many lies did you tell knowing that you were telling them?
How many lies made you lose friends?
Lovers?
Made people hate you?
Want you to go away?
Want you to die?
How many lies have you told that broke innocent people's hearts?
Broke their souls?
Made them looks like fools, while you [the liar] looked like a helpless victim.
What if everyone knew your lies?
Would you still have all your friends?
Now if there was a fee on every lie you told....
What would you do?
If every lie you told put you in a debt?
What would you do...
If you had to pay a fee to every person that you lied to, and not just every person...
Every lie that you told that person.
The price would vary considering how bad the lie was...
If you lied about where you were?
Or say who you were?
Well that would be two different fees...
So when you finally stop lying....
I want you to count your debt, the one that doesn't exist.
But I just want you to think....
How much do you owe the people you hurt still?
Because you'll never be free of that chain that binds you to them.
They will always be apart of you.
Because of the lies you told.
The debt you keep.
And the guilt that will never be allowed to leave your heart.
So what would happen if there was a fee on lying?

And more importantly, would yoy come clean and pay the price?
And lie again to cover up your mess...
The choice is yours....

I am seeing the same thing go on with my bf's ex. I can relate to all of this. Just wrote something simialar. It sucks to have someone u thought u trusted betray you like that. once trust is gone its done. not repairable. Your writes are always eye catching too me. Intriguing. Keep writing, Always enjoyable and meaningful. olivia
