The Malevolent Garden

Gorgeous out here today
Enjoyable that one doesn’t have to pay

Some tiny creature, furious with wrath
Is coming closer, onto your path

An arm trapped underneath a rock
No reason why, many looked and stopped

Beautiful flowers, oh what a delightful smell
As the scent enters your nostrils, this causes one to feel unwell

Wilma Fingerdoo’s girdle was lying on the ground
Her friend Stacy Rect cannot be found

Great Uncle Seymour Snatch standing near the lake
Accidentally fell in, strangled by a snake

Little Jenny Tayla watchers as her aunt
Is pulled feet first inside a plant

Large, hissing swarm of hairy insects
A baby was grabbed as the parents fought, but to no effect

The butler of whom the family is very fond
Is sinking in a marshy, bubbling pond

Suddenly the sky has become completely black
For those still here, better think on turning back

Scream, yell or thrash about
There is no way of getting out

The next morning the Malevolent Garden openes at 10
No evidence from the day before, let’s do this again
