Every Single Night
Simplicity can produce brilliance
Sometimes less is more
Reconnecting through resilience
Sure seemed easier before
Drop the beat ride the bass line
Rhythm is raging hard
Ladies sipping on foreign wine
Melody is her calling card
Guitars solo over the groove
Distorted disposition
Tempo makes the mood move
In every position
Band’s jamming on this track
Music is tight
Got people dancing out back
Every single night
Sometimes less is more
Reconnecting through resilience
Sure seemed easier before
Drop the beat ride the bass line
Rhythm is raging hard
Ladies sipping on foreign wine
Melody is her calling card
Guitars solo over the groove
Distorted disposition
Tempo makes the mood move
In every position
Band’s jamming on this track
Music is tight
Got people dancing out back
Every single night

I can read this and tell you know how to play something, probably a guitar and several more instruments. You've got a band, right? Because this is lyrical

Truthfully, I fronted a local band called, "DeadLove" many summers ago. Kinda of a Van Halen thing. Using a band members last name as the band name. We were thrash metal with the growls of death metal. I can't play an instrument, I was the lead singer. Not that I sang. I screamed, growled, snarled, and sometimes just kinda speaking it. But I spent over 30 years around bands, and solo artists. I'm a lyricist who got involved in songwriting. I have an ear for music, and worked in a studio some. Even had my lyrics wind up on a few albums. Appreciate you.

That is freaking awesome! I can definitely see the lyricist. So, I have one song in my portfolio called "Make it Rain" - country pop. I don't really have a tune yet

When we lived at the beach, I was very young and used to lie in bed and listen to the distant music, laughter, and clinking of glasses from a beach bar a block or so away. I would imagine what it looked like with everyone dancing out on the back patio to the view of the ocean.
This reminded me of that. Well done.

Bass guitar, harmonica, and bag pipes, instruments I've dabbled with. From a time I believed more in people

I've been in a band. And done some songwriting over the past 30 years. Thanks so much for your commentary. Appreciate you.
