balm to a long day

Ease your troubled brow
as I cup your tired face
hands smoothing creased skin

Press your lips to mine gently
tense shoulders relaxing

Undress me slowly
pulses elevated, in sync
hands grazing smooth skin

Willing fingers seek pleasure
our bodies entwined, breathless

We move together
both aching for that small death
heavenly escape

I breathe exhausted passions
against your untroubled chest
