The halls.
Voices in the walls.
Eyes look back at me.
Yet no light can see.
The air releases, where now?
Time didn't heal me but neither did you.
There is a monster downstairs.
Look: you can see the tail.
Scratching and scraping;
The walls stand by.
Door after door,
More?
Some more.
My ears hurt. or maybe its my heart.
What I do know is the floor got smaller and the roof got bigger.
Why water?
Why do you look so grey,
Why do you look so black?
Why water?
Why do you creep toward my chest?
I call: no answer.
The walls stand by forever.
Yes, I say, for never.
They sever indeed.
Voices in the walls.
Eyes look back at me.
Yet no light can see.
The air releases, where now?
Time didn't heal me but neither did you.
There is a monster downstairs.
Look: you can see the tail.
Scratching and scraping;
The walls stand by.
Door after door,
More?
Some more.
My ears hurt. or maybe its my heart.
What I do know is the floor got smaller and the roof got bigger.
Why water?
Why do you look so grey,
Why do you look so black?
Why water?
Why do you creep toward my chest?
I call: no answer.
The walls stand by forever.
Yes, I say, for never.
They sever indeed.
