Paths Of Inspiration And Guidance
What am I...
Who am I...
Why would I myself wonder and ask
Don’t I know that one dwelling in me
The one in the mirror gazing at me
That one in complexions
Resembling me
In reflections
You have to see me
*****
When asked to myself present
Waiting and pondering to no end
How would I myself define
Is it what I do occupy
And my worth certify
Would that just be fine
Or shall I add the thoughts and visions
that feed what I see and envision
Consider the worlds that to me belong
The wonders nurturing me for long
The words that compose my song
The pen that conceives my poetry
And tells a huge part of my stories
****
From so young of age
I learnt to be sage
Swallow my rage
And just turn the page..
*****
From my youth
I thought there was only one truth
And Humanity followed just one sooth!
Nostalgia for a misspent youth?!!
*****
From an early time
When the soul was in its prime
Smitten with the word and its rhyme
And so happy and thrilled still I’m
*****
From early years
I learnt to venerate the words
Probing their dimensions, their worlds
One of the so eager nerds!
*****
I saw many a world in hidden nooks
While turning the pages of books
Drinking from wells, from brooks
Satiating a hunger from its roots
*****
Need I to know me say that much
When my core you can feel and touch
Needless to define me as such
How can with inner growth keep in touch
*****
I did leave a world am built from its essence
I left its walls and what was of hindrance
Seeking other paths of inspiration and guidance
Still holding in my heart Love and reverence
*****
Above occupation and vocation is my world of poetry
A bond of a very rich and subtle alchemy
A wide world of sovereign remedy
A genuine voice of mystery and beauty.
