Sometimes we look at the progress we’ve made
By looking at the things we were able to overcome
And sometimes we look back the road behind
Reflecting on the past so as to move forward
A thirty-day writing challenge is a journey within
It’s an exercise in indulgence and creativity

So we can express ourselves honestly and freely
