Mine Love (An Olde English Heart)

I hath fallen deeply for thee,
Mine eye seeketh for thy smile
Mine hand reaches for thine touch
Dreams plague mine thoughts
Whilst mine eyes are open
Acting a wondrous play
Of purest beauty

Adorned with finest lace
Chrysanthemum in thy hair
Thou wander betwixt mighty oaks
In the vale of imagination

Watched from a distance as an apparition
Mine presence is not needed....

To spoil such an effigy as this
Would bring a travesty of justice
To mine serene...perfect.....dream
Thy omnipresence here doth suit
Thee as an angel in heaven
Thy serenading nymphs as angels
Soft mosses under thou bare feet as clouds

I sigh as mine heart yearns for thee
As thou comes to rest
By the secluded rock pool,
absently playing with leaves
Upon the clearest of waters
As sunlight dapples
And dances upon your brow

There lyeth the moment
The moment of mine love
Surrendering to thou.

Author's Note
Ones attempt with Olde English, I'd read once in my head and then aloud, it kinda hits different ;)
