Emeralds And Songbirds

I wish that it
rained emeralds for you,
as you bathe in
the eternal sunsets hue
and time would slow
to mark your grace,
savouring the beauty
on your face.

With strength I watch
your passion swell,
your voice sings to me
my own liberty bell,
as I hold your hand
to the bluebirds song,
we dance under the
Moonlight all night long.

If winter should
fall early this year,
your warmth would
melt my crystal tears.

And with patience
you would watch them dry,

I would sleep to your
sweet lullaby.
