I'm left with this saddened broken heart
And crushed as well as destroyed
Never should have loved from the start
Feeling frustrated and so annoyed
Figuring out different ways to recover
I began this adventure I'm now taking
New outlets of temptations I discovered
Adding up the mistakes I'm making
It started with constant alcohol
To erase the thoughts I would think
Even after I would stumble and fall
I would continue to drink and drink
The beer turned to hard liquor
Hoping this would do the trick
Even though it messed me up a little quicker
My shattered soul still seemed so sick
So I scored these drugs from some friends
And lived the constant party scene
I thought this was the means to my ends
But I couldn't erase my memories between
I tried to relax with lady after lady
To satisfy my twisted sexual desires
But that made my nightmares more crazy
And fueled even more my addictive fires
This rampage of drugs alcohol and sex
I was hoping would be my hearts mender
But all I really wanted was my ex
Instead of this four day no sleep bender
