Too Damn Good to Be True
You guess I didn’t know a good thing
when it's up in my face
See that’s where you’re wrong
And I can't stand this pain
I guess it's inconceivable
Someone loves me like this
When you did me so wrong
That I can't stand your sweet kiss
You were the smile on my face
You were the stars and the moon
Where the sun in the sky
Now you’re the clouds in my June
There was breakfast in bed
I tasted nothing at all
Too damn good to be true
I’ve been hurt too many times
So I know when it real
I gave my love
And you knew the what’s deal
Just like Sunday morning
It was easy and smooth
Now the storm had rolled in
And there’s not we can do
You were the smile on my face
You were the stars and the moon
Where the sun in the sky
Now you’re the clouds in my June
There was breakfast in bed
I tasted nothing at all
Too damn good to be true
when it's up in my face
See that’s where you’re wrong
And I can't stand this pain
I guess it's inconceivable
Someone loves me like this
When you did me so wrong
That I can't stand your sweet kiss
You were the smile on my face
You were the stars and the moon
Where the sun in the sky
Now you’re the clouds in my June
There was breakfast in bed
I tasted nothing at all
Too damn good to be true
I’ve been hurt too many times
So I know when it real
I gave my love
And you knew the what’s deal
Just like Sunday morning
It was easy and smooth
Now the storm had rolled in
And there’s not we can do
You were the smile on my face
You were the stars and the moon
Where the sun in the sky
Now you’re the clouds in my June
There was breakfast in bed
I tasted nothing at all
Too damn good to be true
