I'm Sorry My Angel</3
Moon is high and bright
Giving me my only light
I can't wait for Moon to doze
Maybe she won't see me walk the path I chose
It pains me to wait
And I know its getting late
But still I stroke her dark hair
As her blue eyes peer at me with a tired stare
Moon misses her
"I need my storyteller"
She whispers as the lights get dimmer
Oh how I hope she remembers
There are a bunch of deaths lately
Its kept her so busy
Moon understands if you may
But its her mommy the mortician that keeps the monsters at bay
Me sleeping next to my darling Moon
Won't be enough soon
She's having these changes
She needs us both to straighten out these mazes
My poor angel I never thought this would happen
What have we done wrong to make this happen?
Her delusions are bound to hurt her
I've decided to stay home to be her protector
I won't let the white coats confine her
To a room will padded walls and no visitors
No meds can fix this
Not even billions of pin pricks
She begins to tremble....
Its happening again...
Her eyes roll back into her head
When this is all over she won't be dead..
I pull her in snug
To keep her from flailing from my gentle hug
I call her name
Hoping to pull her back tame
Sweat pours from her skin
Then the clock strikes ten
Her body curls
Then she leans over and hurls
My angel is back
I'm so scared that soon it will be her I lack...
But this is why I'm giving her my life
So once her mother is home I'll secretly take this knife
I'll tell my Darling first as Moon is sleeping
And I will keep the monsters from scaring and creeping
I'm sorry my Angel
Giving me my only light
I can't wait for Moon to doze
Maybe she won't see me walk the path I chose
It pains me to wait
And I know its getting late
But still I stroke her dark hair
As her blue eyes peer at me with a tired stare
