Something needed to be done

The board review came to a decision
They found him sane
One doctor felt otherwise
Doctor knew that he fooled the board and staff
The doctor pleaded with the medical board
They saw nothing wrong
The ex girlfriend was always afraid of him
He went psycho on her a few times
For no apparent reason
She would have liked to do normal things couples would do
Instead, she had to worry when something so small and minute would agitate him
He didn't like that she was talking to her brother
He thought her & her brother were secretly in love
When she was threatened with a knife, that's when she called the authorities
That was the last time she saw him
When she found out that he was released, she wanted to leave the city
She informed the police, but nothing could be done, since he didn't do anything
The one doctor knew of her and called her one day
He explained that he's probably going to call or appear at your front door
I wouldn't trust him
I would recommend getting a gun or a watch dog
If you see him and he's threatening you, call the police and me
I'll be ready

One night she had plans to go out
She didn't feel to well
Plus, her nerves have been a wreck as of late
She claims she's seen him peeking around corners, lurking in bushes and back allies
As the night became darker
She went upstairs to go to sleep
When she turned her light on and opened her closet
BAM!!!
There he was!
He placed his hands around her throat,
squeezing the life out of her
She was able to grab the lamp and smash it over his head
This stunned him temporarily
She ran into the other room, locked the door and called the police
The police weren't called, since he cut the phone line
All phones were dead
She didn't have her cell phone with her
She opened the window up and screamed
At that moment, he was able to bust open the door
When he did, the doctor heard her shrills and came to the house
He wasn't able to get in
Instead he screamed to her to get down
When she did he had a clear shot of him and fired twice
One shot hit his shoulder
the other right into his left cheek
He went down
She ran and unlocked the front door
The doctor went upstairs,
handcuffed him and dragged him out of the house
He was in critical condition
The girl was trembling, crying and also happy that they caught him
Hopefully the next time around they keep this creep in a maximum security prison
