Memories Of Love
You were my one true love
But you never knew it
Your boyish grin
Was more than cherished
Your long looks at me
Got me all stirred up
It was your voice
That made my heart go wild
It's funny how
I never have stopped
Thinking of you
How I was the only
Women you asked to dance
And did we ever dance
Strange how I've
Never stopped wanting you
Even though you are
Now unattainable
Too bad the drugs stole
Your handsome good looks
And God knows what else
I'll never stop loving you
You can be sure
That I have tried
Sadly, to no avail
It doesn't help that
I still keep your picture
In a frame on my night stand
I should put it away
But still I can't do just that
It must be a kind of madness
But you never knew it
Your boyish grin
Was more than cherished
Your long looks at me
Got me all stirred up
It was your voice
That made my heart go wild
It's funny how
I never have stopped
Thinking of you
How I was the only
Women you asked to dance
And did we ever dance
Strange how I've
Never stopped wanting you
Even though you are
Now unattainable
Too bad the drugs stole
Your handsome good looks
And God knows what else
I'll never stop loving you
You can be sure
That I have tried
Sadly, to no avail
It doesn't help that
I still keep your picture
In a frame on my night stand
I should put it away
But still I can't do just that
It must be a kind of madness
