Image for the poem Lay me down;

Lay me down;

Oh Lord
Lay me down
And pour across my eyes
Even in the coldest winter
Bury me deep
Where the sun does not touch down
Even in the hottest deserts
Keep my memory
scattered even upon dusty mantles
May death finally bring me certain kinds of wisdom
Even across emotional hearted minds and wild vibrations of waters
Pour me deep
Laid across emotional towers
Where cowards keep jars of all their sorrow
Good Lord, send me home
Oh Lord
I am ready now
Lay me down
```~~~ ~~~```
Neath the changing leaves in grounds of wild weather
Where I can look up and see miles and miles of cracking stone
Buddying up through the wild rose
```~~~ ~~~```
