Would you?
Would you remember my voice?
When I leave all this noise
Just a partner in the dance
Of chance and choice
Could you hear the words I say?
When the night takes my day
And the setting of my sun
Comes to steal the moon away
Would you understand the things I said?
Stingy with stories that remain unread
Ink in an unused pen too dry
Divine, full of dreams in a comfy bed
Do you know that I'll remember you?
Across the spans of the sands of the galaxies through
Within every single breath exhaled
Haled in every loving folly of every eager bumbling fool
When I leave all this noise
Just a partner in the dance
Of chance and choice
Could you hear the words I say?
When the night takes my day
And the setting of my sun
Comes to steal the moon away
Would you understand the things I said?
Stingy with stories that remain unread
Ink in an unused pen too dry
Divine, full of dreams in a comfy bed
Do you know that I'll remember you?
Across the spans of the sands of the galaxies through
Within every single breath exhaled
Haled in every loving folly of every eager bumbling fool
