Paramours and Winesap-with Grace

Of paramours and photographs
heirlooms in the cradle of the grave
from two sides of a mirror
vertigo from womb to tomb
sealed from dusk's swollen twilight
gone to the picnickers of death
as the flesh turns to sourdough
in the fermenting ground of Winesap
haunting artifacts and bickering sighs
sealed from dusk's swollen twilight

braided with silver the yellow moon
lighting out shadows in forgotten dawn
the dust settled on grey leaves
that all remained of whispered vows
distant music of croaking crows
grating in ears ever vigilant
for false rumors forbidden to heart
bubbles of doubt surfaced in thoughts
yet one strife to live on
blowing more pollen in fields
of flowering doubts
