balanced duality and dichotomy

help me peel back the layers and unmask,    
unwind with me as I lounge in the foliage of fall,

hurtle forward, drop your gut on the loop, and slingshot backwards.    
ride it once and know what to do, nothing new to expect.

except this coaster shows a pattern,    
a bigger cycle; fall down 7, get up 8,    
it must be fate these missteps won't abate.

tuesday, wednesday, thursday    
     
repeated cycles of the same pattern,    
one week, two weeks, three,    
oh this time what will it be?    
     
two parts of the same whole,    
dueling dragons in opposite roles,    
balanced polarity is the goal.    
     
knitting, weaving, intertwining;    
I trip you, you trip me.    
is this your vacillation or mine?    
     
even with all that our cycles may be,    
in between your past, and my present, is our future;    
so meet me in the middle and hit me with your best shot.
