walking to the coast

the splendor
falls
on clearer
further going,
the sun
watched
tracing down
days
of gray,
and then
a less
threatening
sight,
the wind
blew until
i felt
the circling
race of a
throbbing pulse,
and
the roar
of another
ocean.
