LOST AT SEA        (1983; Laguna Beach, California)

screaming clarity
intrigues my sinewy mind
as air flows in and out of me
feeling how all things bind
as this crystalline day around me
so sensuously explores
my outer and inner
living body and being
so sweetly
so sensuously
pore by pore
as sun s warm  golden  solar palm
gently touches and caresses
this great  living  conscious
spinning vessel
of our wondrous
sacred mother earth
with it s fiery heart s light
reflective
of my very soul
oh soul of my soul
light of my light
can you hear my living
joyously grateful song s
spontaneous  living prayer here
flowing like the air i breathe
in and out of me
within this greater oneness all things are
oh soul of my soul
oh radiant light of my own
beyond this temporal
illusory  learning world
of our mortal
temporal human lives
vehicles of our eternal souls
in which
and throughout which
we each and all
live out our lives upon
and wherein we each and all
through life s rich joys
greatest hardships
and suffering s
inevitable
necessary soul lessons
all come and go
in each of our lifetime s
fleeting  uncertain journeys
wherein  and through which
the one thing that i ve come
to most surely learn
and experientially know
is simply this
above all else alone
this beautiful  conscious  living world
contains but one kingdom
in which this day is life s throne
and mankind is the sea
that the nameless god
of ineffable oneness
sails on  upon
within and throughout
each and every
ever mysterious
recyclic journey
of everything
that is
and us
all
in this
inseparable
oneness
with all
in oneness
we
are
