Have you ever felt so distant
Have you ever felt so alone
Have you ever felt so much pain
That you just cant stand it anymore

Have you thought of grabbing a razor
Have you thought of grabbing a knife
Have you thought of harming yourself
To make everything alright

Why does this whole world have hate me
Why does this whole world have to cheat
why does this whole world have to lie
And call me an inhuman freak

BULLYING MAY BE THE CAUSE

The title of the poem caught my eye....anybody who calls themselves a freak sounds like they have been bullied by others or treated badly at home or at school or at work (YES - WORKPLACE BULLYING IS A NATIONAL EPIDEMIC)...and that you have integrated what you think...THEY THINK of YOU into your SELF-PERCEPTION....and further...you are beating yourself up...which is no help
Clearly this poem is a cry for help....
I think that putting your feelings down in poetry is a very positive step in analysing your situation
Harming yourself only will make the situation worse as you will be labelled further as "crazy" and that is a totally undermining word which is used to completely destroy the credibility of whoever receives that label
So keep writing and if necessary seek appropriate help...
They have found that putting your problems on paper in any genre is very therapeutic
