Thoughts Of Loneliness

 
alone in the loneliness I smile
it is good to feel sorrow
sadness, a gentle ache that keens

tears relieve my sadness
holding my sides tight
I hug my inner girl

sweet sunshine in a glance
an open plain face
honesty is my honor
my eyes never lie
they say what needs saying

in the need there is growth
if not for want
there would be no reason to search
knowledge is given but it comes at a price
to know emptiness is to be filled

I wander through the universes
seeking the face of God
in his presence I am humbled
and by his design, I am perfectly flawed

so I will know his perfection
