Poison Back

It cuts through my flesh
Leaves my heart to bleed
Oxygen and poison mesh
My vision cannot see
I'm weathered and scorned
By the bright red sun
Saturated and so burned
Doubled twice form as one
But half of me
Has journeyed in time
And this side of reality
Doesn't seem as fine
Crystalized I feel numb
As I float through the air
My mind still deaf and dumb
My heart no feelings to share
My journey has begun
But my will still fights
From life my body runs
Ruined under blackened lights
Jolts try to juice my power
Further and further I drift away
Silence this everlasting hour
Echoes reverb my final day
Statically stirring a sound
Which agitates my brain
I look there's noone around
I'm left quiet and insane
Slowly I arise I'm awake
But half of me isn't here
My body starts to shake
As I realize this haunting fear
Bodies form around me
And laughter fills the sky
This is a nightmaric fantasy
And I ask myself why
I'm flooded with denial
From the serpents attack
I pray and pray for a retrial
