A Scent Of Daffodil
Ascent of daffodil
I think it's fair in the air
Moderation is the very flair
More from the morning dew
And the doves that start to coo
It is the season to woo and court
Flatter the soulmate and flutter above
As the dell between the trees clatters
Beneath the trees a gleaming ray twinkles
touching the wet grass that is lively growing
As the dawn peeps from the eastern mountain
I see a vernal gleam into the view fading
And the broad skyline heavenly unstained
Nature and Beauty a twins that are entwined
The high stone that keeps my past whimsies
Where beneath its foot i saw the daisies
Growing among the dripping aloe vera
As if they said'' here you are, take my flowers,
enjoy with the bee in springtime bowers..""...
And for a while, fill the thirsty quill with my honey elixir....
From the dried winters and past blazing heat..
Drip your words like the dew and mesmerize the world.
In each drop of dew soak your heart to the core
And drift like a dervish in a poetic ecstasy
