I enjoy summer but not with the oppressive heat. I just realized I messed up on the last line. I was suppose to have written enjoyed not cherished. DAMN!!

I used to love summer but then melanoma came to visit. That was the end of my carefree summers. July is the hottest month of the year where I am. Oppressive actually. But nothing like a cool sorbet to chill out.

Sorry to hear that you had melanoma. I enjoy July because of the holiday & usually that's when I take vacation. August to me just drags. No holiday's and I'm eager for Labor Day weekend!
