Body Of Warmth

I can only undress at night
if I know you are so close
that your skin came warm me,
sliding in beside me
my lips to your shoulder
the rise of my appreciation
butting up
against the entry
of the only true antidote
to tackle the chill in the room,
your body
more than capable
of delivering
the only heat I really need.
