to dream and play

i danced in the evening sky
playing between the stars
dropping pieces of moonbeams
just to light my way

i pushed the night higher
swimming through constellations
staying until morning came

warming myself on the sun
now, gathering a large cloud
i slept and dreamed until
it was time to play again
