Dusk Reflectives

Though I shall never repent
Sometimes I'm content just to sit
Observing another sunset
Thinking how fast time has went

Though I think not allowed
I watch the Sun hidden by clouds
Wondering of then and now
Curious of what makes me proud

Lapses in the intermittent
Memories ceasing to ridden
Epiphanies ungiven
The sunlight stays hidden

A lifetime of pain and of love
The hourglass never enough
Whatever I'm measuring from
These reflections in Dusk
