Alien kidnapping, or was it Chapter 10

Alien kidnapping, or was it
Chapter 10

Sam looked at the vast collection of IP troops he already had tied up. This was nothing compared to how many he had seen on the planet when he was in space. He also had a massive pile of weapons stacked neatly near the troops.

Waiting, he knew that more would appear soon. These guys were nothing if not predictable. A moment later, he heard frantic calls to the missing troops. Smirking, Sam thought, they will not be reporting in all that soon. He also knew that they would be sending a more severe number of troops soon. Then they would know for sure that he was there.

Back in the command room, a young radio operator was puzzled that no one from the sector outside the city had answered. Again, he gave the ID code, waiting for a reply from more than thirty troopers. Strangely, he thought there was nothing to block the signal; what was happening? Turning to his commander, he attracted the male's attention.

"What seems to be the problem?" The commander asked as soon as he was next to the radio operator.

"Sir, I have been calling the troops outside the city for quite a while now. But I am still waiting to hear back from you.

"Have they missed more than one cycle of arranged check-in time?" The other male asked.

"No, sir, only the first one. Strangely, this particular set has always returned a call.: The younger male replied.

The older commander stood still, then nodded, "ok, order a detachment out there to see if they need help."

The younger male nodded in answer as he called up the emergency response team’s commander. A few minutes later, he received confirmation that they were on their way.

Sam had already collected the few life forms that he had seen being driven to what he saw as exhaustion. They reminded him a bit of what the queen looked like, only darker in color. They also were much thinner. The group of about forty bowed low to Sam and then stood there.

Finally, one came forward, bowing again to Sam, "Sir, we await your orders. We know we are being assessed; we will not fail you, sir."

Sam looked at the rest of the beings as they bowed, laying their heads on the ground. Shaking his head, Sam was about to get angry when he realized that these beings had been subjugated for a long time. If what the Queen said was true, breaking the IP hold on their minds and bodies would take a lot.

Well, Sam thought. There is nothing like the truth to set someone free. "Do you perhaps know who or what I am?" Sam slightly nodded when the one before him shook its head no, as well as the rest. "Do you know about a race once called the Clive Stone?"

Sam sighed as the being before him shrunk back, and a fearful look came to its eyes. "Yes, sir, we were told that they were a fierce and domineering race. It was said that they would decimate entire planets that did not bend to their will. We were told..."

Sam held up a hand to quiet the being. "Tell me, if a Clive stone were here right now, would you or the IP troops be alive? I mean, according to what you were told?"

The being looked up at Sam, blinking momentarily, and then answered, "No sir, I believe that all would be dead, and it would already be destroying the city."

Sam again nodded as he stepped forward, whispering in the being's ear, "I am a Clive stone, and you have been lied to, though I expect you not to believe me."

The being's eyes were wide a moment, and then it nodded. "I can believe you; I have heard stories of how they were kind people."

Sam was a little shocked that it said this, though he held his tongue 'til he had further proof. Better to make sure than be a damn fool about the situation.

"I had thought liberating you would help, though these few weapons won't do much for you," Sam stated, making the being's head snap up to look at the small pile of weapons.

"Sir, even if we had far more, few know how to use them. Then there is the councilor that has control of this area. I do not think it would sit still while you cleared one of its planets. It has been rumored that it is the strongest of all of them." Shaking its head, the being went on. "Even with your power, we fear you might fall also."

"I am far stronger than you think. If they defeated me, I don't think they would survive." Sam replied to the now-standing being.

"That may be so, sir, though against your race was the only time they combined their power to defeat you. I can tell you have great power, but I fear it might not be enough. We thank you for what you did. We all have family units to think of before we can even do anything like you suggest." The being sadly stated.

"I understand, though I do not think I can allow any of these troopers to return. Be well," Sam said as he lifted all the troops he had tied up in tow. Now he thought, what to do with them? Flying further into the jungle-like area, Sam smiled as an idea started to form in his mind; hmmm, he thought it just might work.

A few time units later, a commotion was near the city's entrance. "Can you tell who they are?" The commander of the city entrance asked of his troopers.

"No sir," the one nearest him stated. "They appeared demanding things and then started to open fire on us. We awaited you, sir, 'til we destroyed them."

The commander nodded as he peered harder at the approaching group of beings. "Order them to stop once more then if nothing? Cut them down!"

A male nodded as he did as the commander said, and then nothing else. "Open fire!" He shouted as every one of the beings down the street was riddled with holes, many screaming as they went down. Then, a second group came around the corner, opening fire on the city troops. Opening fire a second time, a few city troops went down with a surprise attack. The commander and several troopers advanced slowly, suddenly shocked that all the bodies were many of their group.

The second in command, you started to look around, shaking a bit. "Sir? Have you ever seen anything like this? You do not think there are more, do you?"

"Never seen this before, though I remember something like this mentioned in our history. I need to inform command of..." The Commander started, and then his eyes grew large as several of his troops began to fire upon the others. The sounds of the dying could be heard well down the street.

Sam smiled as he watched even more troopers start to fire upon their fellows.

Shaking his head, he could feel the dying start to slip from his control. It was more complicated than he thought; the first twenty had been incredibly hard. The second was difficult, though he found it had grown easier.

Concentrating harder, he shifted to different beings as one went down when he felt a strong presence. An almost blank-faced female stepped out from behind the troops, pointing in his direction. So, Sam thought, they have a powerful one here.

Her emotionless face still blank, she started to clear the troopers. Her eyes widened when she felt other fighters slip as fast as she removed the affected ones. Reaching out, she searched for the source of what she was feeling. Her eyes went even wider when she hit an impregnable wall.

Pushing as hard as she could, she was again surprised to be stopped and go back! What was she up against? She was at level five! No one was stronger than her except for the Clive stone creature they held captured all these centuries ago.

She was about to push again when a booming voice made her cringe. I know not who or what you are, though I promise you will suffer significantly if you persist in this. Withdraw before I make you!

The female looked around, searching for the source of the voice. It felt close; it was all she felt. She had to erect a shield as those affected started to fire upon her.

Who are you? She asked carefully, careful not to probe too far.

The loud voice returned, almost making her head swim. I am one you want to avoid taking on. I suggest you leave before you are a mindless thing.

She felt emotion and anger for the first time in the last two revolving planet time units.

Strangely, she thought all emotions had been removed to facilitate her great control. What was going on? Almost immediately, several troopers around her started to get extremely angry.

Then she felt another emotion, shock, as the soldiers turned their weapons upon their comrades.

Nodding his head, Sam watched for a few more minutes and then seemed to vanish. The female was struggling to get her power under control as more troopers arrived, laying waste to their own. Lifting slightly, the female moved away from the fighters, noticing that those further away were not affected as severely.

Sam appeared on the opposite side of the city a few moments later. Smiling, he reached out, repeating the same thing he had accomplished on the other side. Then, he was surprised that he could now control five more suitable; the more, the merrier.

Mellos Thymp's eyes were large when she saw the test results. What in the hell was going on? Well, over half of her genetic deficiencies were gone! Thinking back, the only thing different was the fact that she had, had her ass handed to her twice by that Sam being! Smiling, she remembered having the male grasped between her legs. She should have been able to destroy him, crushing him with her legs.

Looking over at the earlier tests they had done on Sam being, a perplexed look crossed her face. He was ten percent purer than she was genetically. According to what she saw, he was an original from Owt Los. Shaking her head, how in the hell was that possible? She thought.

The only original left was the one that the IP had in isolation. She had a genetic deformity of the second generation. At least, she thought so; with these new readings on herself, she was not that sure.

"Slave!" Mellos shouted a moment later.

Almost immediately, the tall blonde male who was helping her appeared. "Yes, mistress? You called?"

"I want you to go through all these tests again. According to what I see, this Sam being is a full Clive stone. Also, from those readings, I got the full Clive stone that the IP has, which is almost similar. Make a closer comparison of both along with mine. Something is going on here that I am not seeing. That is making me angry to no end. I want to know why most of my genetic anomalies have suddenly repaired themselves." Mellos told the now startled male.

Bowing low, the male responded, "Yes, mistress, I'll get right on it." The male, not moving fast enough, was cuffed by Mellos to the floor. "Thank you, mistress," the male said as he dragged himself off the bed.

Mellos smiled at the extreme loyalty the male showed. She would have to reward him again; hmmm, she thought, what pain to deliver this time?

The male scrambled away to start the comparisons. She would punish and reward him again if he did well. Shivering in delight, he remembered the last time she had.

Mellos looked at the results as the male fed the comparisons to her. She could see they were all almost pure Clear stones from Owt Los. They all were of a pure form, though her genome was still quite a bit off. She saw that nearly half of the deformities had somehow healed. What?

Mellos scanned again as her mouth started to drop open; she was entirely immune to the gas. When did that happen? Thinking hard, she felt herself slowly rise off the floor; she could fly a bit. Ok, now she was convinced she had to fight him again. Damn! If they had opposed longer, she might be completely healed now.

A steady beeping alerted her to another interesting fact. Reaching up, she felt where he had smashed her in the face as she came at him. Holy shit! It was almost healed! All right, she HAD to fight that prick again. That goody, goody had a natural healing ability about him. He was nice looking, she thought. Stopping, she shook her head; where had that come from?

Staring harder at the coming readouts, she growled as she saw it was doing more than healing her genome. Damn it! It was also adjusting her thought processes! Great, she was going to become a sniveling idiot like him, although she thought. It might do to help... Slapping her face, she growled again. This was starting to disgust her!

The tall blonde man could only stare as he watched his mistress slap and punch herself. With a sigh, he wished it were him who was at the end of those slaps and punches.

Drivas's eyes were wide as she felt Thantas nudge her higher and higher, far past level five. She could feel abilities she never thought would have started opening to her. I would take you both higher, faster, though, as you both have thought it takes longer for the body to adjust. Unfortunately, the process the IP uses weakens the body.

Do you mean to tell me I am past the other level five? Looking at Thallus, she reached out, feeling that her friend was even at the high end of level five.

Yes, most definitely, though I am afraid you are still no match for me. You could resist far longer than any other but Sam. He is at another level, even beyond me. Now that I have further to go with you, you must sleep. Thallus, you will need to watch the ship while she rests. Thantas told both.

I can feel new abilities starting to open Thantas. Are these what you were thinking of when you said I would be able to resist you more? Drivas asked, even as she felt pain start to invade her thoughts.

Thantas tried to explain with a sigh that they would want me to eradicate you. Even with half their control gone, I would still have no choice but to obey. Soon, I hope you can fool me and the machines that you both are dead. When you both can achieve this, you will be strong enough. Not to equal me, to survive me.

I still wish we could help you to escape. I find it disappointing that Thallus and I cannot be of help. Drivas said.

I also wish I were free to help Sam accelerate his plan much faster. The fact that he has done what he has without full knowledge of his power is extraordinary. If he had complete control, nothing could stop him. Not all seven collectives would stand a chance. He could take any of them as he is right now. Any three together, though not all of them. I made that mistake centuries ago. Thantas explained.

Drivas was about to ask what she meant when the pain started to increase, and then she began to scream.

The first council was enjoying listening to the screams of the female that he was torturing. Ah! Her screams were making him feel far better after being denied for so long. Reaching out, he cut the spinal cord, letting her scream in pain a few moments before he reattached it. Reaching out, he started to break a bone, then two, then several, as she was screaming non-stop. Ah! The terror, the fear, the pain was so delicious.

He'd just healed all her bones when he felt a disturbance in the furthest world of his sector. The amount of power he felt was indeed disturbing.

Without looking, he snapped the female's neck, reaching out. He could feel something was not right in the world. Sucking in a breath, he realized it was one of the former cornerstone worlds of the Triad in that area!

Looking back at the female, he tried to heal her, realizing he had waited a few seconds too long. Damn, which was his favorite torture victim. Infuriated, he reached out to demand a report from the planet commander.

"Yes, councilor?" The male said as soon as he came on. "How can I help you?"

"What are you doing? This needs to be taken care of right now!" The councilor shouted angrily.

"We're doing all we can to fight..." The male started.

"No! You are not!" The first councilor said as he snapped his fingers, the commander falling dead. Changing channels, the councilor saw another commander. "You're now in charge. That damn Clive stone is on the planet. The last Commander failed me; he no longer wills. Let us hope you also do not get that piece of garbage now. I expect results, or like your predecessor, you also will be replaced! Am I clear?"

The new planet Commander gulped as he snapped to attention, "Yes, sir! I am on it now."

The councilor had to hide a broad smile, this one he liked. He was ambitious to the point that he would kill anyone in his way. Hmmm, he needed to re-evaluate those in charge. If it were more like this one, they would not have the problems they were having.

"I want this garbage dead as soon as possible. You can use any means at your disposal to destroy this thing. The quicker, the better. Do this, and you can expect the position you've wanted to be open to you." The first councilor said as he felt almost pure evil intentions oozing out of the male.

"Yes, councilor!" The male said, a truly evil look coming to his face. Clicking off, he immediately ordered the execution of a thousand of the natives.

Let us see him hide amongst them now, he thought. He thought I should make it a thousand from every city to get the point across.

Sam was walking through the city when he was forced at gunpoint with all in the street with him up against the wall of the nearest building. A male came out reading a demand from the new commander of the planet. They were to give up the Clive stone that was causing trouble. If they did not, all those on the wall would be destroyed.

Sam did his best to hide his anger as no one had anything to say. Nodding his head, the commander shouted for all there to prepare. A moment later, many of the men with weapons turned, firing on their comrades, including the leader of the troops there. A great shouting started as not a single shot made it to those on the wall.

A moment later, Sam heard screams across the planet. Going airborne, Sam started to move to every city as fast as he could. He had managed to stop all the executions save for one. Even as he arrived, he tried to catch each blast many were getting through.

There was a laughing coming from one of the coms of the dead troopers. "So, you aren't as great as they said you are. Their deaths are on your head, I."

Roaring, Sam shouted at the com, "Enjoy the small victory. I will kill you. You cannot hide from me; know that right now. Nothing you can do will stop me. Know that I, at this moment, declare war on the IP. I will take a hundred of the IPs for each one you kill. Enjoy when I find you; you will die as slowly as I can kill you, as you deserve." Sam said as his voice shattered the com.
