In the Meantime, In Between Time

The comprehensive cosmos if reduced is quite banal,
comprising merely force and matter bits in empty space,
besides the writing on the wall inside the cosmic stall,
which reads, "The cosmic toilet soon shall flush the human race" --
but hey, till then, who gives a shit, for ain't we having fun
in watching friends and family being flushed yet one by one?
