Threads Of Sorrow

Through a dream, of whiskey tears
the bottle was to say goodbye
filling my soul with threads of sorrow
lusting for the shoulder of tomorrow
listening to your heartache
yet shadows comforted my tequila
with two fingers devouring my tongue
of love's dark metaphors dripping
with no time to shake the horrors
filling my soul with threads of sorrow
