Far Away

A soft iridesent light
Indulged itself within the night
Amongst the twilight flowers
As a small glimmer
Of a waning moon
Streaked through the canopy
Into a secret twilight world
Of the ethereal
Silken wings shimmered
As fairies danced
To the magical music
Of an Aeolian harp
As Autumn leaves
Were caught on a wistful wind
The moon clouded over
As soon this secret garden
Was silent again
Other than the hoots, screeches, and squeaks
Of the creatures of the night
As the fairies
Drifted off
Into their world of far away dreams
