what is the essence of our soul?
shadows with stories untold
a hint of the mystical a little divine
what is this life's tapestry?
woven with tears sealed with kisses
yet chances are there are lies behind the pearly curtains

Dear H, Thank you so much for reading me. We dream and aspire and when we are there, its not what we thought it was. Life throws us that all the time, and sometimes we catch it sometimes we miss it by a mile. :)

Lies behind the pearly curtain. Chances are - suggest a little naïveté could be symbolic of hope but not with blindness. I really liked this piece.
