Nostalgic Melodies

I remember  I was a toddler.
The summers always lasted longer.
And  I never minded the fact I'm getting older.

I blew my birthday candles.
i made my wish.
I didn't know,that my childhood will perish.

I wanted it to last forever.
I wanted to be together forever.
But alas,I had to accept it..

And move on from these times.
With memories causing happy smiles.
We used to play with dolls.

Now we work in a place with dark halls.
Sometimes,we think time lasts forever.
But it passes too fast whatsoever.

And now we look back at the good old days.
Smiling,young faces caressed by sunrays.
We'll always remember these days in our hearts.

No matter if we took different paths.
We'll meet again,wearing colorful hats.
As we share a cup of hot chocolate.

Soothing,creamy taste.
With sweet flavour of chocolate paste.
As it brings us closer,after all these years.

Now we meet again,defeating our fears.
And we look back at our days together.
Singing love and friendship is forever.

Sometimes,I wish I could see the smile on your face once again.
As we took different paths.
But we'll meet again,I know it in my heart.

We'll cross paths again,I'm sure of that.
I write this as I wear a holiday hat.
And may the sun shine on your face,erasing all your worries.

Surrounded by a pile of magical flowers all around you.
With magical, soothing glow.
And green leaves,magic flow.
