Last Night on Revolution Road

 
Last night she came home with tears in her eyes
The years she spent coaching him came to an end
The little boy she aided through many challenges
Is growing up and in the future hopes to be a friend

She does the work with kindness in her heart
Giving them the tools so they can succeed in life
These children learn and develop new social skills
So that later on they can have productive lives

For all the days of frustrations there were also triumphs
It was a step forward toward an objective and common goal
Behavioral therapy requires love and understanding
It’s rewarding, worth more than all the world’s gold
