So far out, But still together
I reached my hands out,
As my entire world seemed to spin around me,
I didn't comprehend what was happening,
This was all so sudden,
Why didn't I get a warning?
Something could have prevailed,
But again why nothing?
My breaths are so heavy,
I feel tied down to the floor,
My eyes are running like water
And burning like hell,
I sound so silent,
But my thoughts are so loud,
What is happening
I'm now looking at that hole in the ground,
I'm watching as you're being lowered,
But in a way I know I'm in the same hole you are,
Long ago I knew I had dug myself there,
I just never expected you'd be the one to go
In the past week I've gone from standing,
To falling,
To sitting, and I sit here and wonder what went wrong,
My body feels heavy now, I don't only feel like I'm tied down to the floor, But that I am being pulled threw it, And there is nothing I can do to stop it now
Now I know that I was actually to late
But in the beginning I thought I had the head start,
It's morbidly ironic,
You've left the world to early,
And I'm leaving the world to late, but,
In the end,
I kept my hands close,
As my entire world seemed to come to a stand still.
As my entire world seemed to spin around me,
I didn't comprehend what was happening,
This was all so sudden,
Why didn't I get a warning?
Something could have prevailed,
But again why nothing?
My breaths are so heavy,
I feel tied down to the floor,
My eyes are running like water
And burning like hell,
I sound so silent,
But my thoughts are so loud,
