Of innumerable wonders
Ten hundred thousand
Million stars, and more
Wondrous hues and iridescent images
Woven together so chaotically beautifully
And my mind cannot contain
All the good I hope for you

When I nibble your ear
I’m imagining new ways to thrill you
In body,
Heart,
And mind

When I can’t help but stare
At your bare belly
And you smirk gently when
I beg to kiss you there
I’m wandering through our future
Hand-in-hand with our hopeful children
Yet unnamed,
Unknown,
And long-sought

When I caress your breast
My heart is blooming
In our later years;
Our children grown
Our hair peppered
Or white
Or gone
Our fears and wonder of
What comes after?

And when I kiss your lips
I’m kissing you
In this moment
Right now
Whatever stage this moment is
And will be
Ever present

In this vast galaxy
My love is yours
And as the sun
Not the brightest
Nor grandest
In all the galaxy
