I live my life by disguise
soothing my demons with lullabies
I'd apologize, but my mouth is dry
I need you to hate me for leaving this time

we relate in a celestial place
I can't watch the tears run down your face
I won't let you watch him fill the space

your darkness is shrouded with innocence
the monster bound and buried within
