have considered it
possible that it could

The author encourages honest critique.
The 1970s, best decade for social mobility, equality of pay, buying a house, and no-tuition-fee higher ed. Unfortunately, Thatcher's "there's no such thing as society" and free-market folly changed all that. No longer was it "we all rise together after the sacrifice of two world wars" ... but 'everyman for himself'. 40 years on, johnson-truss-sunak and 2,500+ food-banks is the result. I hope we can return to kinder times.
