the child poet
the child poet
all the children have left the plays
depressed,so sad for their adult age
they're cowering in the remote corner
writing memories of the bloody days
the children nowadays cry no more
they know that tears are for kids
crying for toys, or biological needs
or even from killing bombs and gore
today's children have become great poets
they wouldn't hear of bombs and bullets
they are either in asylum, it could be !
or taking delight on trips over the sea
children are VIPS in their ivory towers
they bother look and see lower down
taken over the airs flying over the clouds
leaving death to those children of the bombs
and wide streets gape with puerile fear
there's only ravens, even birds did leave
blood has written their death with bombs
the left poets are digging their own tombs
and the rest of the children hold the guns
writing their history with bullets and pens
they are much wiser than those adult poets
who still float blissfully in their faked space
all the children have left the plays
depressed,so sad for their adult age
they're cowering in the remote corner
writing memories of the bloody days
the children nowadays cry no more
they know that tears are for kids
